Available for those age 14.5+ who wish to obtain a driver's license at age 16. This course includes the MT Written Exam required to obtain a Learner's License.

42 hours of state-required classroom education

6 Hours of behind the wheel instruction (BTW)

12 hours BTW observation, includes pick up and drop off in the Kalispell Area if desired

Big Sky Driving School has state certified Instructors for all Behind-the-Wheel drives

Teens must be at least age 14.5 to take the knowledge exam and receive a Learner License.
Accelerated Course

Available for those 16
and older when applying for their
Driver's License.

24 hours (12 sessions) of comprehensive but condensed classroom education

3 hours behind the wheel instruction (BTW), includes pick up and drop off in the Kalispell Area, if desired

Students are required to have their Learner's License before being allowed to participate in the BTW portion of this course. If you do not have one, a Test Prep course is available to take separately.

Additional BTW instruction hours are available for an additional cost.
Test Prep Course

Available for those who wish for confidence in driving knowledge and preparation for the written test.

8 hours (4 sessions) of comprehensive but condensed classroom education to prepare students for the written test

Students that pass the written test will obtain a Learner's License

Students are required to have their Learner's License before registering for any BTW driving.
